Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-24

Kixoro is a free fan game you can play without an account. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data. This policy explains the small amount of information involved when you play.

Playing is anonymous

No sign-up, login, or account is required to play. Drafting your XI and simulating the run happen on your device and require no personal information.

What we collect

The only personal-ish data we store is what you choose to submit with a leaderboard score: an optional display alias and an optional country code. When you submit, our server records that alias and country together with your run details — your verified XI (the eleven players), the formation, play style and game mode, the random seed, the resulting score and tournament outcome, whether it was the daily challenge, and a timestamp. Leaving the alias and country blank keeps your entry anonymous.

IP addresses

Your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit submissions and protect the service from abuse. It is not stored alongside your leaderboard result.

No tracking or ads

Kixoro uses no third-party analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking. There are no ad cookies and no behavioural profiling.

Where data is stored

Leaderboard submissions are stored in a MongoDB database. We use Cloudflare as our CDN and DigitalOcean for hosting; both act as data processors that help us deliver the service.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete a leaderboard entry you submitted, or ask what we hold, by emailing us. Because entries can be anonymous, please include enough detail (such as the alias and approximate date) for us to find them.

Children

Kixoro is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
